NCOC '2004 I shall update now bout' da camp. =))* Cuz i think i forgot some of the parts and the sequence of the camp liao, so i went ta blog-hop at some banana-sjab ppl's bloggies. =D I agar-agar write ba. Haha. =P
Yea. I actually survived the 4d-3n camp at Marsiling Primary School. Haha. I s-u-r-v-i-v-e-d. =P I think this entry should be quite long so... be prepared. =P But i will break them up so it will be not so squeezy. =))*
9th o' June First day of da' camp. Hmm... First, we were seperated into our bunkies. Lol. (btw i m in Platoon 1) XD A few of the peeps in every platoon [platoon 1,2,3] were chosen to go to another bunk and mix ard with other platoon peeps. Haha. Yea. But most of us had a bunkie with our own platoon mates. *Platoon 1*
Then we also found out who's our PS & PC. =P PS is Sgt Hasinah PC is Mdm Ginna. =D They're great. Or should i say ALL of the peeps were great. ^-^
Then we went ta the hall for the knotty and lashy lesson. Lol. Is campcraft in simpler words. XD A bit blur bout' da knots and lashings. Yea. Know how to tie but dunno the name. Strange eh? Wahaha. Then Sgt Hasinah a bit frustrated cuz we took a loooooong time to learn. ^-^''
Then first night of the camp ma... so a bit bu xi guan the bed. [Note: The bed is actually tables joined together la] Then didn't really slept well, though i WAS really tired. >.< ZzZzZzZzZ Haha.
10th o' June The second day. Haha. Yea. Went for PT. Wah... Finished the PT when i was half-dead. Lol. First, we do warm-ups. Then pumpings... -.-'' Haha. Then after all da' sort-of on the spot exercises, we went for a jog ard woodlands and marsiling. Gawd. I think over all quite alright IF they do not have all da' slopes and stuff. Bahhh. Haha. I and Yan Ru from Platoon 1 ran together. At first was behind her. Partnering with Gladys. Lol. Then run run run, until i partner her. ^-^ Then we ran together. Helping each other. =D But when there was a slope, we will die. Haha. Ya. In chinese is : Pa Bu Shang. Yea. Sweat and sweat.
Now for the funnn part. =P TOC : Tranportation Of Casualty. Got some theory first. Haha. Very sian. Almost fell asleep. >.< Budden got one particular part made me less sian. Lol. The demostration part. ^-^ Taa-daa! Yong Siang. =.= Oh yea, he was with 3 SJI peeps. Then i think he dunno. Cuz when the SJI peeps went ta lift the stretcher up, he was blur? Lol. Yea. Btw the casualty was Ginna Mdm. I think she got a shock. Yea.Then practical part. First station is Alex Sir. Woohoo. It WAS great. Kayx. Maybe is because i m the casualty then dun need to do la. ^-^'' [Sorry to those who carried me, haha, a bit guilty] Then i was lying on the stretcher all da' way. I trust our school de *BANANARIANS* Lol. Yea. So kewlx! First time, is Wai Ching, Fang Yi, & 2 SACSS peeps --> Amanda & Christabella do the drill. Very cool kay. Haha. Slowly slowly, peeps were crowding round ta' see. Woohoo! =))* Then... they (Wai Ching & Fang Yi) want to do again. Lol. As in, after Wei Ting's Grp. You see, all of us were in the same grp actually. But for this staion had to seperate into 2 grps. They felt it was fun. Haha. Yea. So the second time, Is Wei Ting (Bear-Bear) , Wai Ching, Fang Yi & Joan. =))* Once again, i'm da' casualty. Very coooool kayx. Got loads of ppl looking. Haha. *claps*
Then second station is Gary Sir. Haha. Yea. Manual Lifts. Then he taught us the manual lifts with some demo. Yea. Then this time, use Hui Zhen as casualty. So Hui Zhen and I named ourselves Casualty 1 and Casualty 2. Haha. Then got competition. With another grp. Woohoo. Then must do all the lifts stated la. Then mostly is Hui Zhen and I being the casualty. Some others too. Lol. Then got 1 part. Wei Ting and I nothing to do. So we went piggy-backing ard. Lol. Of course, i'm the "casualty" again. =))* Bear Bear! Haha. Then we do do do and we WON! =D SoOoOOoOOOoo Fun! XD
Then afternoon... hmm... got team-building course i think. Haha. Yea. Shall not touch so much on it. Haha. Later too long. =P
Then at nite. Wah~~~ Got ME. Just when we wanted to bathe? Cuz it was late in da' night. Then we tot we could FINALLY go for a bath. Then in the end --> Fire Drill. Gawd. First ME of the camp. Then i was the mass evac 3 grp. We're supposed to evac the treated casualties to the ambulance. Everywhere in chaos man. Very messy. Then our hands very suan. Cuz a lot of casualties then little peeps. As in our grp la. ^-^'' Btw, they bluffed some peeps who went ta the sick bay that morning to be the casualty la. They themselves also dunno. Yea. Then suddenly got fire liao. Lol. I think all of us didn't do a good job ba. Too sudden le. ^-^'' Then we all ard 1.30 then sleep. The lights-off time is 1 o' clock thou. We had 1 hr to bathe. Yea. At least got time to bathe.
11th o' June Erm... OooOooh! Remembered. We went for hiking. First, to Kranji War Memorial then back to Marsiling Primary School. Then ate lunch. Then went for hiking again to the causeway opp. Johor. Then back again. In total we hiked 11km. Yea. Quite tiring. Or should i say sleepy. Haha. Then we we singing and cheering all da' way there. Carried a heavy bag. Haha. Yea. But i feel like only the bananarians were cheering la. Haha. After that i was very very sleepy. No sleep ah! ^-^''
Then campfire. Woohoo. Not really that 'HIGH', but all of us enjoyed it la. Haha. Our performance i think should be alright. Very last min de. Can't expect tooooo much. Haha. Cheered and played around. The funniest part was when Venod Sir had ta do the 'dance'. The one which u have to bend under the pole and go thru it. Lol. Our platoon girls were like shouting squad tiam. Or tiam still can move! Haha. =X [dunno how to spell tiam] Cuz Venod Sir always says Squad Tiam. XD Very funny. I laugh until stomachache. Lol.
Then got guard duty at night. Lol. Highlight of the night? Haha. Was laughing thru out the duty with my duty mates. Lol. Cuz ours is 1 - 2. Then 12 finish everything liao. So we had 1 hr to crap and stuff liddat. Didn't really feel like sleeping. Yea. Our topic of the day was actually... PS. Ok. Not platoon sgt btw. Will not say wat does PS means. Haha. Some shld know. =X Haha. Yea. Gurls ma. So gossip all da' way lo. Then very fast 1 o' clock liao. Went for the duty. And also gossiped all da' way. The PS and Sir were very tired. Although some DID participate in our mini gossip. Lol. Especially Gabriel la. Haha. =P *Observe...* Then Si Ying & I not sleepy. Quite energetic after gossip session. Cuz she was the main gossiper while i was the one who keeps laughing. Then Sir also say i a bit siao siao. =P We went for another round of duty la. But half only. Yea. The second one was very sian. Cuz You-Know-Who was there la. Anyway.. yea that's it lo. Haha. Felt sleepy then both of us went back ta bed. Lol. Yea.
12th o' June Again, ME. It was a very sudden one. I think only a few ppl expected it. Yea. This time, those who were bluffed were actually the first aiders la. Haha. Ya. The other way round this time. Then i was the casualty. The fire drill was activated then all of the ppl excluding those bluffed went down to the parade square. We received the case slip. My case was that i have spinal injury and was unconcscious. Ya. Spinal Injury... difficult to treat. Yea. Then i lie on the parade square lo. Many first aiders walked past me. Some see the word spinal then walked away. Some treat halfway then walked away cuz short of first aiders. Kayx. I know spinal injury also not easy one la. then finally was carried to the hall. At the triage area there i think. Then Wai Ching and some others treated me. Ya. But it took some time. Then when i was finally ready to be transported, the ME was over. -.-'' Haha. then i had to call for help to untie me. Cuz i cannot move. Haha. Then everything was over lo. I think most peeps were sweating. And i rememebered Qi Zi Mdm helped me "shield the sun". Haha. Thanks! =))* I think the sirs, mdms and sgts stayed up late to prepare this. Lack of sleep. Poor thing. >.< To think we still complain.
Yea. Last part liao. Area cleaning. YONG SIANG was the i/c i think. -.-'' I think a lot of ppl were er-heming him la. Haha. Dun care him. I also la. Haha. Shall not touch so much on this. But at the end, Alex Sir was very angry with him. He was very disappointed. Haix. I think that left a bad ying-xiang on him ba.
Then very last part liao. Break camp. Everyone suddenly became very sad. I think Wai Ching especially ba. Hmm... we sang Auld Lang Syne. Then the Sirs/Mdms/Sgts came one by one to shake our hands. Yea. Said some words to all the peeps. Haha. Then Simon Sir squeezed our hands. =))* Hope to keep in touch with them. Yea. After that, we went ta fall in at the parade square with our barang-barang. Yea. Quite saddening la. Then Simon Sir commanded us. After that everyone went to the gate and headed for home. Budden we, [The Bananarians] stayed for a while and cheered. =P We thanked the Sir/Mdms/Sgts. I think we rawked da' camp ba. Haha. =P Made a nice ending. =D
